Little Monster’s Birthday is coming soon!

My son’s first birthday is coming sooner than we can say Yikes! What to do, what to do!

Pinterest has become my new best friend. However, I think I have about 20 (of course I am exaggerating) different boards related to his birthday. Anyone who looks at my boards would think, “Sheesh, how many parties is she planning on throwing?” From Mickey Mouse, to Henry Huggle-Monster, to just Halloween themes, I just can’t make up my mind.

Truthfully, in a perfect world, I would throw a Henry Huggle-Monster party. But as my son has very well pointed out to me with his dumbfounded face as to why I changed the channel from Mickey Mouse over to this crazy looking creature, he is not very fond of Henry. What a shame, because I really like Henry. Mostly because (and you may be wondering why I call my son Little Monster) when just a few weeks old, he would sleep for minutes and if I was luck y half hours at a time. I am sure many mothers can relate. Suddenly, he’d wake up and Bam! It was over! He would cry out hysterically!  And so we called him the Little Sleeping Monster

So here are some ideas that I found on Pinterest that I just really love:

Love this! Just Cool-Aid.
Throw some of those
googly eyes in front and
you have Monster Juice!

Very cute and healthy for both
children and adults.

Some more ideas below. These are just a selection of pictures from my pinterest.
Marshmallows! Need I
say more?
A kids party is not complete if
you don't have one of these!

This is just the best
idea ever for kids to
be silly and enjoy!

As you can see from the pictures above, I've decided to go with a Monsters theme. It seems the most easy and kid friendly. Ideas on paper is what this is right now. Now I have to call on my sister for her party planning skills. Watch out for a later blog on the aftermath of this event.
